Graysen McLellen
Nickname: Gray
Gender: Female
Age: 32
Appearance: Graysen is tall, thin, and a very soft-expressioned woman. She has few worry-lines, right on her forehead, but they're only visible when she frowns. Gray has dark auburn hair that flows in a straight line to the ends of her shoulders, and has the body structure of a teenager. Her body is lanky, but not too long. Gray's eyes are a blue-tinted gray, hence the nickname.
Gray's skin is slightly tan, but with an olive-y tint to it. Her face is thin, with high cheekbones and soft-gazing eyes. She looks much younger than she is, especially when she's focused. Her teeth are straight and white, and her smile is sweet. Her hands are slightly callused with years of working with Magical Herbs, but her teaching position has been changed to DEFENSE AGAINST THE DARK ARTS.
Personality: Gray is a very kind-hearted woman, always willing to help a student until they succeed. Her attitude is always calm and kind, though she can get really upset when someone disrespects her. She has no tolerance for class clowns, nor those who are lazy and provide no work ethic at all. She likes to teach, but some students just "irk" her nerves.
Other than that, she is a generous woman, nice and pure in every way. She almost never gets frustrated, though she can be a bit stressed, proof by the worry lines on her forehead. Gray is very outspoken and is very concerned about the wellfare ofothers. She will do nearly anything to defend a student or a fellow teacher.
History: Gray has always know she was born to teach, even when she was young. She'd explain things to her freinds and family, making them understand what was too complex before. Gray grew up in a nice home, with encouraging parents and freinds equally as smart. Then, when she was 12, she got her first letter from Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardy.
She breezed through school and graduated with the sense of pride. She went on to work for the Minister of Magic, until she became bored of her job, which was arranging meetings with the press. She wanted something more, she wanted to help others learn. So, she became a regular school teacher, going to a muggle college and getting a master's degree in Art. She taught with joy for the next 3 years, but then became tired of not being able to use her magical abilities.
When she was asked to teach for Hogwarts, she was extatic! She was filled with so much happiness that she nearly ran to Platform 3 and 4 quarters. She was assigned Defense Against the Dark Arts, her favorite class all throughout her years at the academy. Gray hopes her first year will be unforgettable.
Likes: She LOVEs Skittles and Lemons. What she looks for in a guy is tall, slender, and kind. She's in love with auburn hair and bright, bornw eyes, and she dreams about meeting her soulmate. Her favorite animals are the Horse and Owl.
Dislikes: She despises class clowns, lazy stuends, and actual chocolate. She hates dogs and can not tolerate them.

(First person)
The arrogant noise of chirping birds kept me awake the majority of the morning. I sighed, not ready to uncover myself, and i burrowed my face in the pillow deeper and deeper until it was impossible to breathe. I flung back the thin sheets and lay still, noticing the soliditary quietness of the house. Except for the birds. I rolled my eyes and touched my bare feet to the stone floor of my three-bedroom house. This house had become so well-kept, I was sure it was the looker of the block. I grinned, still half asleep, and allowed my toes to dangle just above the freezing floor. Spring was coming fast, and it was time to tidy up the the fresh year.
I blinked a few times and dug my face into my hands, my pale blonde hair falling in relaxed waves down my back, a bit frizzled from my restless sleep. I dug the sleepy from my eyes and got up from the vibrant warmth of my firm matress. Glancing around the room, I saw the sun creeping in from behind my white-and-silver curtains. I walked to the window slowly, taking my time and trying to wake up. Still in my underwear and tank top, I flung open the curtain to reveal the day.
After brushing my teeth and combing my hair, I decided to do something a bit different. Using my rubber bands that I had found around the house from my excessive cleaning, I braided back the front half of my hair in a half-up, half-down style. Nodding in satisfaction, I pulled on my tight-fitting jeans and a fresh tank top, the color still a dazzling white. I groped for my red plaid button-down shirt, and soon after finding it, I was buttoning it up on my way down the porch stairs.
The air still had a frost to it, but I welcomed the warmness that I had missed for months. Summer was probably my favorite season, but Spring wasn't so bad, either. I smiled at the passer-bys, waving to the men working with the saws, and continued my way down the sidewalk. The smell of wood and gasoline hung strongly in the air, the apparent sign that work was going well. I shuttered, dreading the day that I'll be sent to work in the woods.
As I was walking, I saw a scene with the cherry-cart driver and some little girl. A crowd quickly gathered, and I approached silently, craining my neck for a better view. Apparently she had toppled over his cart. My face scrunched up. That was not a good thing to do, especially not this specific cart driver. I'd had a few stints with him before, and felt like it was my responsibility to clar the mess up. I had no clue why, but it pressured me until I made a move.
I broke through the crowd, my face churning into something of a sly-malevolent smile type thing, and I helt by fists on my hips. I stood directly in front of the cart driver and glared with my cold blue eyes.
"Excuse me, but is human life more important than cherries? Well, if it isn't to you, then I suggest you trade this job for something a bit more... Meaningful." As soon as I finished talking, I turned to the girl and smiled at her sweetly. "Hey, sweetheart. C'Mon, let's get away from this mean man." I glanced back over my shoulder, giving the driver one last look of distain. A motioned for the boy to come along too, and I lead them around the corner, out of earshot.
